Our Maine man Stephen King returned to Twitter recently with another fascinating horror film recommendation. It looks like the granddaddy of modern terror has found himself at dizzying new heights of fear. The latest title King suggests we check out is one I’ve been actively avoiding out of pure anxiety: Fall.

This recent Lionsgate release has received mixed reviews, but the poster alone was enough to trigger me into a mild panic attack. King says he wishes he had written the film himself, calling it “tight, terrific and very very scary”. Check out his full thoughts below.

The Descent once took grave advantage of our fears of enclosed places with a terrifying kerplunk into a system of monster-infested caves. Now, director Scott Mann and co-writer Jonathan Frank are taking scares to the skies with their film Fall, available On Demand. Anyone out there with a fear of heights beware, the climb to the top of this rickety isolated tower is sure to give you the spins.

In the movie, for best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits. But after they climb 2,000 feet to the top of a remote, abandoned radio tower, they find themselves stranded with no way down. Now Becky and Hunter’s expert climbing skills will be put to the ultimate test as they desperately fight to survive the elements, a lack of supplies, and vertigo-inducing heights in this adrenaline-fueled thriller. Avoid this one if you have bad acrophobia.

Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan star in Fall. Check out the dizzying trailer here:
