Taylor Swift: Red (Taylor’s Version) [Republic]

In 2019, Taylor Swift announced that she would re-record her first six albums—from her 2006 self-titled debut through 2017’s Reputation—in order to regain control of her masters. The latest installment of the Taylor’s Version rollout is her new release of Red. The new version of the 2012 album features collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton, and Ed Sheeran, as well as a 10-minute edition of “All Too Well.” Additional Red (Taylor’s Version) contributors include Aaron Dessner, violinist and London Contemporary Orchestra leader Galya Bisengalieva, Jack Antonoff, James Krivchenia of Big Thief, and Josh Kaufman.

Idles: Crawler [Partisan]

Crawler is the fourth album from UK rock band Idles. The 14-track follow-up to last year’s Ultra Mono was recorded at Real World Studios in Bath, England during the pandemic, and was co-produced by Kenny Beats and Idles guitarist Mark Bowen. Back in September, Idles dropped Crawler’s lead single “The Beachland Ballroom,” which was inspired by the Ohio concert venue of the same name.
