‘Atlanta’: All the Songs Heard in Season 4

master mentalism tricks

That’s all, folks. The end of Atlanta‘s four-season run has arrived — and it was quite the finale.

Episode 10, titled “It Was All A Dream,” delves deeper into the life and mind of fan-favorite Darius (played by LaKeith Stanfield) as he explores his inner thoughts via a sensory deprivation tank. The experience causes him to hallucinate, and after four seasons of the show, viewers finally get a glimpse of the free-spirited character’s emotions and personal life. Meanwhile, Van, Earn and Paper Boi go out to eat at a Blockbuster-turned-Black sushi restaurant and instantly regret it. Darius rescues them later in a stolen pink Maserati, but the episode ends on a cliffhanger that leaves viewers to ponder whether the events of the day were real or one of Darius’ hallucinations.

Bruno Nicolai’s “Skyscrapers” and Amnesty’s “Liberty” usher in the episode as they blare through Darius’ headphones in the opening scene. Later, Hitkidd and GloRilla’s hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” and Marvin Gaye’s “Dream of a Lifetime” can be heard during two of Darius’ dreams, while Gunna‘s “Who You Foolin” sets the tone at the restaurant.

As Atlanta has evolved, music synchs have played a big role in the overall scene-setting of the show. Throughout the seasons, music supervisors Jen Malone and Fam Udeorji have chosen a variety of songs by old and new artists from various genres including OutKast, D4L, Gunna, Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa, Kodak Black, Jennifer Lopez and many more.

Atlanta aired on FX Thursday nights at 10 p.m. and all seasons are now available to watch on Hulu. Check out all the songs used in season four below.
