Filmstock Events launches their first annual Industry Expo taking place this coming November 13, 2021, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dania Beach Florida.
The event date was selected to accommodate the activities and attendees of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival otherwise known as FLIFF. We expect talent and vendors and filmmakers from all over the country to be there.
“Where Talent Meets Opportunity” is how Sara Rogers, CEO of Filmstock Events best describes this unique one of a kind Industry Expo.
My business partner Lou Silver and I wanted to do something for our industry to give local talent and filmmakers the well-deserved boost they need after enduring these past 18 months!
On Saturday November 13th from 10 am to 12 noon we have Kids casting where child actors between the ages of 6 – 17 will perform in front of a panel of well-known Casting Directors and Agents. Each actor is given 10 minutes to express their craft.
From 12 noon to 4 pm starts Speed casting for adult actors over the age of 18, also giving each actor 10 minutes to express their craft in front of a new panel of well-known industry Casting Directors and Agents.
At 4 pm we launch Pitch fest giving independent filmmakers each 10 minutes to pitch their project to a panel of Industry Distributors, Producers and Venture Capital providers.

Krystol C. Cameron
Mr. Krystol C. Cameron is the founder and CEO of SimplyME Distribution, one of the largest channel and media distributors of the USA, managing over 180,000 hours of media and with lease-hold distribution over such companies as Dish Network, Comcast, Verizon, and many others.
Mr. Cameron has over 30 years of management and technical experience in the entertainment and computer industries.
Ken Gord
Born in Toronto and educated at the University of Toronto, Ken Gord has been producing film and television for over many years. He has filmed in Canada, the U.S., England, Scotland, France, Mexico, Hungary, Israel, India, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Italy and Spain.
Among his features are CRIMINAL LAW, directed by Martin Campbell, starring Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon and distributed by Warner Bros. and STUCK, starring Stephen Rea and Mena Suvari, directed by Stuart Gordon. STUCK premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008.
He has produced over twenty television movies for BET+, CBS, the Fox Network, UPN, Global, CTV, Lifetime, Paramount Television, Pax, Alliance-Atlantis, eOne and CLT-Ufa.
In 2006, Ken produced 8 DAYS TO LIVE, which was the most successful Movie for Television ever delivered from CTV’s drama development slate, peaking at two million viewers. It also broke records on the Lifetime Network in the U.S. and was nominated for a Canadian Gemini Award for Best TV Movie.
Mini-series include IRAN: DAYS OF CRISIS for TNT and DAY ONE for CBS/Aaron Spelling. DAY ONE won an Emmy in 1989 for Best Drama Special.
Ken was Producer on two seasons of the CBS series SWEATING BULLETS (aka TROPICAL HEAT), the Paramount Television syndicated series QUEEN OF SWORDS, the Paris episodes of RELIC HUNTER (Season 1) and five seasons (100 episodes) of the syndicated cult hit, HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES, nominated for a Canadian Gemini Award in 1996 as Best Dramatic Series and broadcast all around the world.
In 1999 Ken produced TEASE, a Canada-Germany co-production starring Rosanna Arquette, Thomas Kretschmann, and Jurgen Prochnow for Fireworks/SAT1.
In 2001/2002 Ken produced six Movies for Television, Canada-UK co-productions, for Pax/Global, all from Mary Higgins Clark titles.
Mr. Gord produced the $20 million 4-hour Canada-France co-production mini-series, XIII, which broke records for its French Canal+ broadcast and aired on NBC in February 2009. It stars Val Kilmer, has been sold to 150 countries and was nominated for a Canadian Gemini Award as Best Mini-Series.
In 2013 Ken produced the Canada-Malta co-production, SAUL: JOURNEY TO DAMASCUS for eOne Entertainment, starring John Rhys-Davies.
He was back in Malta in 2014 for two additional Movies for Television, THE RED DRESS and DANGEROUS ARRANGEMENT.
In 2015, Ken wrote and Executive-Produced a Canada-Brazil Movie for Television, RIO HEAT, starring Harvey Keitel.
Ken has been involved in Canada-UK, Mexico, Israel, Hungary, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Malta, Brazil, and Germany co-productions and is one of Canada’s most experienced producers.
In 2018, Mr. Gord joined Henderson, Nevada-based Global Genesis Group as Senior VP Production. He produced the Chinese television series SEVEN DAYS ALIVE, and a number of other features and TV movies, most recently THE BUSINESS OF CHRISTMAS 2 for BET+ in 2021, filmed in Richmond, Virginia, and directed by Tim Reid.
In 2020-2021, Ken produced the Ernest Hemingway adaptation of his final novel ACROSS THE RIVER AND INTO THE TREES, in Venice, Italy, starring Liev Schreiber, Matilda de Angelis, Josh Hutcherson, and Danny Huston.
He has been listed in the Canadian Who’s Who since 2001.

Mr. Antonio Choice, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, is the Founder/CEO of C.A.S.S. Firm; a boutique, minority veteran-owned digital media and programmatic advertising firm powered by Lemma Technologies, and Comcast advertising technology platform to deliver ad spots to linear, cable, satellite, broadcast, and radio stations from local to international markets.
Over the past year Mr. Choice has had the luxury of buying and planning media for BET, C&B Operations (John Deere), Nashville’s Next Best of 3, Dr. Rissy, and more.
Ken Tevis
Ken “Kenny Ray” Tevis is the CEO and founder of True Source Funding. A Dayton, Ohio-born native and graduate of Wright State University, Ken settled in Atlanta, GA in 2001 where he started his B2B sales career off in Merchant Services and Credit Card Processing. Ken’s sales success quickly developed into a love of helping business owners decrease their debt and increase profitably.
