The memo reversed an Obama policy that tried to alleviate the conflict between federal laws and state-level initiatives… But members of Congress are now moving to defend those initiatives.

13:59 ICE’s recent sweep of nearly 100 7-Eleven stores across the country marked a step forward in the Trump administration’s effort to deter businesses from hiring undocumented workers. Despite that, only 21 people were arrested, representing a large commitment of resources for comparatively little gain.
