Haunted kids? Malevolent ghosts? A child abuse investigator who just happens to be clairvoyant? Shudder’s newest original film They Live in The Grey checks all those boxes and more.
They Live in The Grey follows Claire (Michelle Krusiec) who, while investigating a child abuse case, discovers that the family is being tormented by a supernatural entity. To save the family, she must confront her fears and use her emerging clairvoyance to stop the malevolent force.

The Vang Brothers, directors of They Live In The Grey, said:
“Most horror films with Asian leads are foreign films. We’re proud and excited to tell an Asian-American horror story – something you don’t often see. We can’t imagine a better partner than Shudder to help us bring this Asian-American narrative to the horror genre.”
Burlee and Abel Vang (Bedeviled) wrote and directed the film. The Vang Brothers and Stephen Stanley produced the film. Krusiec (Hollywood) stars as Claire. They Live In The Grey also stars Ken Kirby (Good Trouble), Ellen Wroe (For All Mankind), and Madelyn Grace (Don’t Breathe 2).
