Netflix has dropped the official Elite Season 5 trailer for the upcoming return of the hit Spanish teen drama, starring Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas, Manu Rios, and more. New episodes will be available for streaming on Friday, April 8.
The video, which you can check out below, begins with a wild all-out party involving the main characters as they try to forget all the rules and judgment set by society. At Las Encinas, the new semester means new love triangles, new students, new rules — and a new mysterious crime.

Elite centers around Las Encinas, the most exclusive school in the country, where the elite sends their children to study. It is created by Carlos Montero (The Mess You Leave Behind) and Jaime Vaca (Cable Girls). The series currently stars Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Martina Cariddi, Georgina Amoros, Claudia Salas, Manu Rios, Pol Granch, Diego Martin, Valentina Zenere, and more.
Ahead of its return, the series has already secured an early sixth season renewal and will be welcoming the additions of new characters, who will once again test the friendship of the seniors, including Ander Puig, Carmen Arrufat, Ana Bokesa, and Alex Pastrana.

Elite is directed by Lino Escalera (High Seas), Kike Maíllo (Alma) and Elena Trapé (The Distances). The series hails from ZETA Studios.
