A new Nope TV spot for Jordan Peele’s highly-anticipated horror-thriller film has been released by Universal Pictures.
Nope is currently slated to arrive in theaters on July 22, 2022. Its theatrical release will pit the film against no direct competition, but it will still be debuting in the same month as Thor: Love and Thunder. The TV spot features a mixture of new and old footage that were seen in previous trailers.

Nope will be led by Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, who is officially reuniting with Peele following the successful release of 2017’s Get Out. Joining him are Keke Palmer (Hustle), and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Minari), who is no stranger to the horror genre after previously starring in The Walking Dead. Further details about the project’s plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, but like Peele’s first two directorial features, it is expected to be a psychological horror-thriller laced with socially conscious themes in regards to race and society.
The film is written and directed by Jordan Peele, who previously earned an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial feature debut Get Out. Before the upcoming film, he had also directed 2019’s Us starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.
