Luxury label Louis Vuitton has been celebrating its founder’s bicentennial birthday since 2021, and they aren’t stopping any time soon. The latest tribute? A one-of-a-kind timepiece that is simply out of this world. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Jacquemart Minute Repeater explores the maison’s core theme of journeys with a deep blue dial, cerulean gemstones and sleek titanium hardware. And although the watch is intricately made up of 480 components, the dial’s astral show is the true conversation starter: At the push of a button, a mini mechanical rocket ship launches into motion, while planets spin, shooting stars take flight and a cathedral bell chimes.
Brunette the Label collaborates with a fellow Canadian brand
Two Vancouver brands have partnered on a sweet yet spicy treat for Valentine’s Day. Brunette the Label and TikTok-famous candle company Mala the Brand just released an eco-conscious cinnamon heart-scented candle. Gucci unveils new high jewellery at couture week
That’s a wrap on couture week, the most playful, boundary-pushing event on the high-fashion calendar. And as expected, among the jaw-dropping collections, there were flashes of dazzling accessories. On January 24, Gucci previewed new additions to its Hortus Deliciarum (latin for “garden of delights”) high jewellery collection, which includes a 35.9 carat mandarin garnet and a 38.8 carat green tourmaline. The unique masterpieces place artistry at the forefront, evoking distant, exotic and magical worlds. Lion head motifs. Cascades of dancing diamonds. The changing colours of the sky. It’s an OTT take on imagination and we’re totally here for the escapism.
