“I thought they were Prada!” is the first thing Hannah Almassi, Who What Wear’s editor in chief says when she sees my latest Marks and Spencer purchase, and she wasn’t the only one. Digging into M&S’ extensive new-in section and finding hidden treasures has become a hobby of mine, and after the success of their Chelsea boots, crossbody bag, and in fact, just about all of their basics, it’s clear that the high-street hero has been undergoing a fashionable update as of late.
We all know that spring can be difficult to dress for, and the confusing mix of sunny spells and chilly temperatures means I don’t know whether to reach for chunky boots or sandals in the morning, so I’m pleased to say that M&S has the perfect solution, and it’s shoe you can continue to wear in summer, autumn, and actually, probably winter, too.
