Get ready for an absolute masterclass in indie horror insanity. Renowned genre director Joe Davison is bringing his supernatural nightmare, Sorority of the Damned, straight to Tubi. To celebrate the streaming launch, an all-new, blood-drenched trailer has officially been unleashed, giving fans a terrifying look at the practical FX chaos waiting for them.
Davison, recognizable to television fans for his role in Netflix’s pop-culture phenomenon Stranger Things, brings his signature genre passion back behind the camera. Sorority of the Damned delivers an unapologetic throwback to classic horror, blending intense supernatural chills with jaw-dropping, creature-feature practical effects. The film dives headfirst into the story of a sisterhood plagued by an ancient curse, forcing a group of unsuspecting students to fight for survival against a rising tide of demonic forces.
The newly released trailer showcases the film’s standout physical effects, teasing the arrival of terrifying witches and an unforgettable, grotesque creature known to fans as the “chode troll.” Eschewing heavy computer graphics in favor of visceral, on-set monster makeup and blood-splattered practical builds, the teaser promises a wildly entertaining ride for die-hard horror enthusiasts who miss the golden age of creature features.
The official trailer is now streaming online, offering a sneak peek at the wicked spell casting, monstrous encounters, and independent spirit that makes Sorority of the Damned a must-watch streaming event this season.
