Katherine Schwarzenegger kicked off Leo season with a birthday tribute to her sister Christina on Wednesday, calling her “my partner in crime” and “the best sister and auntie I could ever ask for.”
The Instagram message went up this morning. Katherine addressed Christina as “Queen Leo CHRISTINA” and signed off with “Love you sissy!” and a pink heart emoji. It’s short, it’s warm, and it doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is.
It’s hard not to smile at a post like this. No angle, no agenda. One sister celebrating another on her birthday. For Katherine, that’s completely on brand.
Katherine is the eldest of the four Schwarzenegger siblings. Their parents are Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver. The family has stayed close over the years, and Katherine’s public image reflects that. Her books, her lifestyle content, and her overall presence put family and gratitude right at the center.
She’s a published author with several titles to her name. “The Gift of Forgiveness” came out in 2020 and landed on the New York Times bestseller list. It tackled a topic many people struggle to discuss openly. Katherine has always leaned into honest, personal storytelling, and her choice of subjects reflects that.
Christina has built her own meaningful track record. She co-produced the Netflix documentary “Take Your Pills: Xanax” in 2022. The film examined the widespread use of prescription benzodiazepines in the U.S. It drew serious attention for taking on a topic many families are quietly dealing with. It also showed Christina’s willingness to go somewhere real.
The “partner in crime” label is the part of Katherine’s post that really sticks. It’s not a polished celebrity caption. It’s the language of two people who grew up sharing the same house, the same parents, the same memories. You don’t call someone that unless you mean it.
Katherine is also a mom. She and husband Chris Pratt have daughters together, and one of them carries Christina’s name as a middle name. So the “best auntie” shoutout in today’s post isn’t a throwaway line. It’s confirmed from the people who matter most.
July 23 marks the first official day of Leo season on the zodiac calendar. Christina’s birthday falls right at the opening of it, and Katherine’s “Queen Leo” title leaned into that with just the right amount of flair. She clearly knows her sister.
What makes a post like this one land is exactly how uncomplicated it is. Katherine isn’t announcing a project or tagging a brand. She’s celebrating her sister. For a celebrity feed that can sometimes feel calculated, that kind of simplicity is genuinely refreshing.
Christina hasn’t shared any birthday plans publicly. But going into your birthday with a tribute like that from your big sister is a pretty good start to the day.
