Getting from the parking lot to the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride in Griffith Park comes with an unusual ride this week. Tubi has turned a hearse into an immersive shuttle that carries guests from the lot to the event, running October 29 through 31 from 6 to 11 p.m. Pacific. It started Thursday, so tonight and Halloween night are what’s left.
Tubi says the hearse is outfitted with eerie imagery, sinister lighting and other unsettling surprises. Riders can also take photos and video during the trip, and Tubi says they’ll leave with giveaway items.
The stunt promotes Terror on Tubi, the streamer’s year-round horror hub. Tubi says the hub launched in August and holds more than 13,000 hours of horror. Before that it ran as a seasonal collection, so the hearse doubles as a reminder that the horror shelf is staying up after November 1.
