Nina Nikitina, who works for a translation agency, is also busy with preparations for her upcoming wedding. But from time to time and in total secrecy, she leaves her office to watch, from a careful and discreet distance, an 8-year-old girl called Varia. But when Nina learns that Varia’s adoptive mother has died in a car accident, she is beside herself with worry, well imagining what the orphaned girl is now going through. To be closer to her daughter, Nina decides to leave her job and enter the Gromov household posing as a nanny and child psychologist…
