Amy Schumer Jokes About Being Invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelces Rehearsal Dinner: Was Sick

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s guest list for their wedding may be under wraps — but we now know one celebrity who definitely didn’t attend the festivities.

Amy Schumer poked fun at the interest surrounding Swift, 36, and Kelce’s special day, writing via Instagram on Thursday, July 2, “Rehearsal dinner was sick. Who knows was [sic] she has planned for us tonight.”

Us Weekly confirmed earlier this week that Swift and Kelce, 36, informed their guests that Madison Square Garden is the meeting place ahead of their planned nuptials. After a rehearsal dinner on Thursday the couple will reportedly tie the knot on Friday, July 3.

An insider teased to Us that Kelce and Swift are having a “whimsical” theme, while another source claimed that the “save the date was sent electronically, and guests had to agree to an NDA before they could see any details.”

“Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided,” a third insider shared. “They are spending a lot of money — in the millions.”

Kelce and Swift’s romance started in 2023 when he made a move during one of her Eras Tour shows. Two months later, Swift took fans by surprise when she showed up to support Kelce at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift explained of her relationship with Kelce in a November 2023 interview with TIME. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

The NFL star wasted no time playing into the heightened attention by using Swift’s music for promotional clips and often showing her on screen when she attended Kelce’s games.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she added in 2023. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”

She insisted, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.”

The pair got engaged in 2025 and have since kept details about their special day out of the public eye.

“[Our relationship] can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s as normal of …,” Kelce told GQ in 2025. “Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process. When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.”
