BTS Locks in Paris for the Arirang World Tour European Run

BTS dropped a massive announcement today that’s got ARMY everywhere absolutely buzzing. The K-pop supergroup is bringing their BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ to Paris as part of a full European leg. The response from fans was immediate and overwhelming.

The verified @bts.bighitofficial account posted the news on Instagram Wednesday with a short, punchy message: “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN PARIS.” The post surged past 1.9 million likes within hours. That number shows just how hungry the global fanbase has been for this kind of announcement.

Hashtags in the post confirm Paris isn’t a lone stop. #BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG_EUROPE signals a wider European run. More cities are likely coming in the days ahead. Specific venues and ticket details haven’t dropped yet, but for ARMY across Europe, this confirmation is everything.

The tour name carries serious weight. ‘Arirang’ is one of Korea’s most treasured folk songs and has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. BTS naming their world tour after it is a deliberate cultural statement. The choice also fits BTS’s wider mission. Throughout their career, the group has worked to bring Korean culture to global audiences, from their language to their creative direction. The folk song is one of the most recognizable symbols of Korean cultural identity worldwide.

BTS is signed to HYBE under BigHit Entertainment. Over the past several years, the group has become one of the biggest acts on the planet. They’ve sold out arenas across North America, Asia, and Europe on multiple world tours. Their previous runs broke records across the board. The ARIRANG tour is coming with that same momentum.

Paris has long been a key city for BTS and their European ARMY. The city’s fandom has shown up for the group in big numbers before. With Europe now locked in as a confirmed leg, anticipation for specific venue announcements is already building fast. European ARMY have been among the most vocal about wanting BTS back on that side of the world.

The timing adds another layer. BTS members have been completing their South Korean mandatory military service obligations in phases over the past couple of years. A full reunion world tour has been the most-discussed topic in BTS circles since that phased service began. ‘ARIRANG’ looks like the answer to that conversation. The entire BTS universe has been waiting for this one.

HYBE and BigHit haven’t shared a full schedule or dates yet. More European cities could still be added, and fans outside Paris are likely watching for their own cities to appear. Based on the hashtag structure, the European leg looks like a serious continental run.

For fam following BTS from day one, this announcement changes the energy for the rest of 2026. Full tour dates and ticket details are expected soon. Stay locked in.
