Thriller author Ashley Winstead has revealed the cover of her latest novel! Here’s the cover of Hot Girl Murder Club, which follows aspiring actress and singer Scout Sage, who is haunted by the mysterious death of her sister Georgia. As a string of murders hits Los Angeles and Scout becomes the prime suspect, the detective assigned to the case also uncovers new details about Georgia’s death. “I’ve never been more obsessed with a cast of characters,” Winstead told People. “And I hope readers feel the same way.” Hot Girl Murder Club will be out on July 14, 2026.
Charli XCX has unveiled a new song from the upcoming film adaptation of Wuthering Heights. This song is reportedly the first of several original songs the pop singer has written for the film, directed by Emerald Fennell. The song “House” is a collaboration with John Cale of The Velvet Underground. “As many of you know I’m a huge fan of the band,” Charli XCX wrote on X. “One thing that stuck with me was how John Cale described a key sonic requirement of The Velvet Underground. That any song had to be both ‘elegant and brutal.’ … So I decided to reach out to him to get his opinion on the songs that his phrase had so deeply inspired, but also to see whether he might want to collaborate on any.” She went on to say the work Cale did for the project “made me cry.” Wuthering Heightshits theaters on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
The final season of Outlander has set its premiere date! The eighth and final season will kick off on March 6, 2026. The synopsis for the final season reads, “Jamie and Claire find the Revolutionary War has followed them home to Fraser’s Ridge, now a thriving settlement that has grown and flourished in their absence. With new arrivals and changes made during their years away, the Frasers are confronted with the question of what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home and, more importantly, what they would sacrifice to stay together.” Outlander, based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, is the longest-running series in STARZ history. And the Outlander franchise will not end here! The prequel series Blood of My Blood has been renewed for a second season.

Here’s the cover reveal for Others: A Story for All of Us, a new picture book from Kobi Yamada and Charles Santoso. The book follows the story of two young children who speculate about their neighbors who are not like them. Yamada says he hopes the story will encourage its young readers to question the “us versus them” mentality that permeates society. “We all have these artificial borders or barriers, and they’re good to acknowledge,” he said. “A picture book is not the salve for all of society’s ills, but it can be part of a conversation, and it’s going to be experienced intergenerationally.” Others: A Story for All of Us is out from Ten Speed Young Readers in March 2026.
