Since first bursting onto our screens in Hulu’s NSFW Normal People, Daisy Edgar-Jones’ entertainment star continues to rise. The 24-year-old British actress further demonstrates her commitment to book-to-screen adaptations in Under the Banner of Heaven, a nuanced performance that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology, or Movie Made for Television.
For the big night, Edgar-Jones dressed the part of a Hollywood starlet in a custom Gucci gown with lace, sequins, and tiered ruffles, a Dionysus clutch, and platform jewels. She topped the look off with Cartier jewelry, specifically Étincelle de Cartier earrings, an Étincelle de Cartier ring, and a Cartier Maillon Panthère ring—all in 18k white gold and diamonds.
She’s keen on seeing how other attendees are dressed, too. “I’m most looking forward to seeing what everyone is wearing,” she tells ELLE.com. “And trying to spot Jennifer Coolidge.”
In terms of beauty, makeup artist Nina Park wanted something “modern, fresh, and elegant to channel Daisy’s essence.” Before application, she prepped Edgar-Jones’ skin with Decorté Liposome Advanced Repair Serum and pressed in the brand’s Liposome Advanced Repair Cream to seal it all in. Next, she applied and gently dusted for a warm glow, then added to the cheeks and, finally, a swipe of on the lips.
