Fans of the horror game Dead by Daylight are going crazy right now. The game has announced its biggest licensed chapter yet. It was revealed in a teaser trailer today that the Alien franchise will be crossing over into the game. It looks like we will be getting the Xenomorph as a killer in the game. More on this newest chapter will be revealed on August 8th of this year. Check out the teaser trailer below.
The Xenomorph from the 1979 film Alien is one of the most iconic movie monsters of all time. This terrifying creature has appeared in a total of 8 films including 4 main movies, 2 crossover movies, and 2 prequel films. The creature has also appeared in several video games, comics, and more. The most recent appearance was in the 2023 video game Alien: Dark Descent.

Most recently the game just released Nicolas Cage as a playable survivor in the game. It was a big success among fans of the game. They have also released many licensed chapters including Halloween, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and many more.

The game description states, “Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed.”
This is something that was unexpected and is sure to be a big success. We may even possibly see Ellen Ripley announced as a survivor of this chapter.
