We are back with the eighth main installment in the Five Nights at Freddy’s Franchise. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the latest game in the series released on 16th December, 2021. This series has got a lot of players under it’s spell and for the very right reasons, from gameplay to the bleak art style, Five Night at Freddy’s has been one of the best Horror survival title of all time.

First released all the way back in 2014, Five nights at Freddy’s has gotten a lot of attention from players around the world. And since then, we have seen a lot of entries making their way into the gaming market. And this one has been a breath of fresh air and unlike previous games, this game features a free roam mode and is set in a mall while all the previous games are set in a pizzeria.

What’s New?

The game has so far gotten mixed reviews on most of the platforms. It is being praised for its free-roam mode and graphics mostly. Another major change in the game is that it features one night instead of five. The game has always been praised for its deep art direction but Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is being bashed for its bugs and glitches which are ruining the whole gameplay for the players.

And if you don’t already know, you play as Gregory, a young boy trapped in Freddy Fazbear’s mega pizzaplex, the goal is simple, to survive in the pizzaplex until dawn with the help of Freddy himself. Gregory has to survive and uncover numerous secrets of the pizzaplex if he is to survive till the first light.

Survival is the Key

As the sun sets and night approaches, the animatronics at the pizzaplex start hunting down the intruders relentlessly, the key is to not stay in one place for any longer than necessary. The game has a hefty variety of ways to tackle your pursuers to survive the night. From knocking over stuff like paint cans and toys to sliding into the hiding spots, there are a million approaches to the ultimate goal of surviving the night in the game.

The pizzaplex is a huge place to explore has got a hundred ways that you can have fun with, apart from surviving the night, there are minigames that you can have fun with and so much more in the pizzaplex. But don’t get too carried away, the goal is to survive the night and for that you need to have your eyes peeled open to look out for any dangers that might throw you off from your path of survival.

Is it Worth Playing?

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is surely the biggest game in the franchise and a lot of the new features actually make it that a great game, but the excessive bugs and glitches have clouded the whole positive lot about the game which is sad but an opportunity for the developers to prove themselves. The game seems quite unfinished to be very honest and if you want to try something a little more horrific, you can go for a new Dead by Daylight account to get your heart-pumping.

Imagine a bug ruining the whole deal for you when you had just started having fun in the game however, with a few updates and patches, the game will be good to go and we are hopeful to see a perfectly working version of the game soon and once that happens, the game is going to nail the job just like its predecessors in the series.
