Fred Again.. Announces New Album Actual Life 3, Shares New

Fred Again.. has announced a new album. Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022) is out October 28 via Atlantic. It’s the producer’s third album and the third installment of his Actual Life series; the first two were released in 2021. Today, he’s also shared a new single from the album called “Danielle (Smile on My Face).” The track samples 070 Shake (whose real name is Danielle Balbuena). Listen to it below.

After Four Tet tweeted, “I made the new Fred Again track,” Fred Again..’s publicist confirmed to Pitchfork that Four Tet had contributed to the song.

The new album follows “Turn Out the Lights Again..,” Fred Again..’s recent collaboration with Swedish House Mafia and Future. The London producer has also recently collaborated with I. Jordan (“Admit It (U Don’t Want 2)”) and the xx’s Romy (“Lights Out”).
