General Hospital kicked off the week with an intense episode and a massive cliffhanger that has left the fans believing that one character will die and leave the show. Many of Port Charles residents have been meaning to take this person down, but did anyone actually succeed? Monday’s episode hints that someone might have, but it’s not who many viewers expected.
Here are the details on the character.

Will Andrew Hawkes’ Cullum die and leave General Hospital?
The closing moments of General Hospital’s March 23 episode have left many fans to believe that Ross Cullum, portrayed by Andrew Hawkes, will die and leave the show.
After learning that Britt’s medicines were gone, he stabbed Marco and later confronted Britt. Following a series of events, Jason arrived and began fighting Cullum. Jason managed to knock the gun out of the WSB director’s hands. Unknown to anyone, Rocco was nearby, overhearing everything from the start. When Jason and Cullum were busy throwing punches at each other, Rocco picked up the gun and shot Cullum.
The episode doesn’t reveal whether Cullum is dead. But being shot at has proven enough for fans to believe that his time on the show is over. While the General Hospital viewers may celebrate the moment, there is no official information about Hawkes leaving the show.
Until the show writers or the actor make an announcement, it is reasonable to expect the character to return. Moreover, the show has proven many times that even though a character is shot, they can still survive.
Furthermore, it was not the first time someone tried to kill Ross Cullum. Last week, Jason tried to kill before going on the run with Britt. During the March 19 episode, he took up a position in a nearby building and aimed his rifle at Cullum. But at the last moment, Jason backed out. The WSB director remains in the dark about how close he came to dying.
However, Cullum’s actions seemed to have caught up in the latest episode. But whether he actually died or not, only the upcoming episodes will reveal it. To learn how it all pans out, keep tuning into General Hospital.
