GXTP Ignites the Rock Scene with Their Explosive Sophomore Album Reloaded

Emerging from the chaos of their 2020 beginnings, the music band GXTP, has once again proven their caliber, shaking up the rock world. Created during the pandemic, the name GXTP is an acronym inspired by the pandemic staples–guns and toilet paper. Following their critically acclaimed debut, “Smoke & Mirrors,” the trio musicians of the brand–Jason Paul, Sasha Sirota, and Triple Sixx–have returned with “Reloaded,” the highly anticipated sophomore album that dropped on November 8.

This new record isn’t just a follow-up of their previous release but a musical statement. Packed with eleven diverse tracks, “Reloaded” is blending humor, irony, and musical ingenuity in ways that only GXTP can deliver. Sasha Sirota described the album as “daring and boundary-pushing,” because it is backed by a powerhouse lineup of collaborators, including Sueco, Killer Mike, Santana, Faris Zahid, and David Bryan of Bon Jovi.

More from Spin:

The journey for GXTP  began with two standout singles that set the stage for the album’s release. In June, GXTP unveiled “My Devil At Home” featuring Sueco, a track that quickly resonated with fans for its haunting lyrics and explosive energy. Its accompanying music video, released in August, added a cinematic layer to the song’s dualistic themes. “My Devil At Home” has captivated audiences with its stark, narrative-driven visuals.

In September, the band released “Couldn’t Keep The Faith” featuring Faris Zahid. It is a powerful anthem that solidified GXTP’s reputation for tackling emotional complexity through rock. Together, these singles hinted at the audacious vision of “Reloaded,” an electrifying record determined to defy expectations.

The main highlights of the album are the first tack “A Dish Served Cold”, a hard-hitting core modern rock record and “Te’Kill’Ya,” which stands out as a genre-bending masterpiece. Featuring the legendary Killer Mike and guitar icon Santana, the track reflects GXTP’s unique approach to contemporary music. Sasha Sirota described the collaboration as a surreal experience, saying, “Working alongside legends like Santana and Killer Mike is beyond a dream come true. This track exemplifies the daring and boundary-pushing essence of our musical journey.”

Staying true to GXTP’s signature style, “Te’Kill’Ya” fuses intense rhythms with brilliant lyricism, offering a hint of both the fiery spirit of tequila and the unrelenting energy of the music itself.

GXTP was formed with a chaotic energy that was evident during the Covid 19 pandemic. Their music mirrors the society, emerging as a rebellion against its confines. The band is known for blending sharp social commentary with unique musicality. With “Reloaded,” the band builds on the themes of “Smoke & Mirrors,” offering a fresh perspective on the human experience through tracks like “A Dish Served Cold,” “Angel Born in Hell,” and “One Race” featuring David Bryan.

Each track on “Reloaded” showcases GXTP’s fearless approach to music. From the biting wit of “Two Commas” to the raw emotion of “Brothers Till the End,” the album invites listeners to explore the complexities of modern life. The band’s ability to blend humor, irony, and powerful melodies has made “Reloaded,” not just an album but an experience through a musical saga.

Within a couple of weeks after its release, GXTP’s “Reloaded” is already making waves among their fans across social media platforms. Each song is a musical masterpiece that solidifies the position of the band in the rock scene.
