He has a very big sword, which means he has the powerrrrr! The new trailer for Masters of the Universe goes deeper into the ascension of Adam Glenn (Nicholas Galitzine) as he transforms from mild-mannered Earthling to He-Man, super-powered defender of his father’s home planet Eternia.
Travis Knight (Bumblebee) directs the big budget adaptation of the popular ’80s cartoon/toy series, which as the first trailer revealed is doing its best to replicate the franchise’s original iconography. (Meaning that the vast majority of the characters look just like their classic action figures.) This includes Jared Leto’s Skeletor as well as Teela (Camila Mendes), Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), Fisto (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson), Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie), Trap Jaw (Sam C. Wilson), and Goat Man (Hafþór Júlíus “The Mountain” Björnssonand).
The cast also features Morena Baccarin (The Sorceress), James Purefoy (King Randor), Charlotte Riley (Queen Marlena), Sasheer Zamata (Suzie), Kojo Attah (Tri-Klops), James Wilkinson (Mekaneck), Jon Xue Zhang (Ram-Man), and Stephen Adentan (Moss Man), plus Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.
