Hawkins is about to get turned Upside Down.
At long last Stranger Things 4 is set to officially premiere in two volumes! Volume 1 premieres May 27th and Volume 2 premieres July 1st on Netflix.
It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.
This past summer Stranger Things 4 producer Shawn Levy teased fans about what to expect.
“To state the incredibly obvious, it’s been way, way, way, way too long, and it’s coming,” said Levy about the upcoming season of Netflix’s massively popular series.
It’s no secret that Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s most valuable properties. Subsequently, the delays in Season 4’s schedule have had fans and creators a little bit antsy. But we’re finally close to getting the new season on our screens, and we here at Dread Central can’t wait.
The last place we saw our heroes was at the Starcourt Mall. That’s where a massive showdown against the Mind Flayer left some of our most beloved characters (seemingly) dead. Since then, we’ve only had a small glimpse into the world of the fourth season when the official teaser was released in May.
Stranger Things 4 will star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.
