In the spring of 1904 Robert “Bob” Wetter was accused of murdering two fellow prospectors, Christian L. Long and Claud Wahn deep in the mountains of Washington state. The story he told led everyone to believe he was insane.
His account of what happened as was told to Judge P.L. Payne was shocking and gruesome.
