Kelly Clarkson Expands Las Vegas Residency With New Shows at Caesars Palace

Kelly Clarkson is heading back to Las Vegas. The singer and daytime TV host announced new show dates for her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Her Instagram caption was brief and warm: “New Vegas shows have been added! Come see me at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace 🏛️🎰 Tickets on sale Friday!”

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace isn’t a casual booking. It’s the venue that made Las Vegas residencies feel prestigious again, largely because of Celine Dion. She spent years there building one of the most talked-about runs in pop concert history. Elton John closed out his farewell tour on that same stage. Adele sold the venue out for an extended run. Mariah Carey headlined it. Getting a residency at The Colosseum at all puts an artist in very exclusive company. Coming back with more dates suggests Clarkson’s shows are filling seats consistently.

Clarkson’s story starts in 2002. She won the very first season of American Idol that year. She didn’t disappear after that. She built one of the most consistent careers to come out of that era of music competition TV. Her catalog stretches over two decades, with multiple Grammy wins along the way. Songs like “Since U Been Gone” and “Stronger” have held up better than most pop hits from that period and still work as live anthems.

In 2019, she launched The Kelly Clarkson Show and built a second career in daytime television. The show earned multiple Daytime Emmy Awards over its run. It made her a presence in a completely different part of the media landscape. Daytime TV runs on warmth and conversation, and Clarkson turned out to be good at both. But live music has always been her real home.

Las Vegas residencies have grown into a mainstream move for major artists over the past decade. The format lets performers build a high-production show in one place and let the audience come to them. For an artist balancing TV commitments with a music career, that flexibility matters. Clarkson is adding dates rather than winding the residency down. That’s a reasonable signal the demand is still there.

The Colosseum holds around 4,300 people. It’s large enough for a proper production but small enough to stay personal. Clarkson’s voice has always been built for size and emotion. It translates well in a room like that.

Specific dates haven’t been listed publicly yet beyond the Friday on-sale. Caesars Palace’s official ticketing is the place to check. The window opens Friday morning, and shows at this venue tend to move fast.

Clarkson hasn’t shared additional details about the new dates. Information on setlists and guest appearances will likely come closer to the actual performances.
