Horror icon and Emmy Award-winning actor Lin Shaye recently sat down with Dread Central and we couldn’t be more excited. The star of the Insidious franchise talks about her brand new film Frank and Penelope, directed by Sean Patrick Flanery. She also gets personal about the importance of romance in cinema, and the most spectacular American road trip she’s ever taken.
Shaye’s brutal new road film revolves around Frank, a man down on his luck who meets Penelope, a stripper with mysterious intentions. They soon fall madly in love and find themselves road tripping into the American West where they encounter a terrifying cult self-named the Table of Truth. Frank and Penelope is violent and exciting ride; a must watch for fans of horror and blistering romance.
