Season 2 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has introduced a powerful new presence with Titan X, a kaiju whose full design has now surfaced through officially licensed merchandise. Although the series has so far offered only limited on-screen glimpses at the monster, official merchandise unveiled at Toy Fair 2026 in New York has clarified the creature’s full design and physical attributes.
A licensed figure displayed at the Playmates booth reveals Titan X as a massive marine predator with a distinctive appearance. The Titan appears to feature grayish-purple skin, a reptilian snout, and a prominent nasal horn. Spiked brow ridges frame its face, and its jaw is lined with sharp teeth. The figure also confirms bioluminescent elements in the creature’s eyes and dorsal spines.
Titan X has four pairs of flipper-like limbs that allow it to move powerfully through water. In addition, the creature has eight long tentacles with barbed hooks. These appear to be used to grab and secure prey. Season 2 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters confirms that Titan X was previously trapped in Axis Mundi. This is a dimension located between Earth and the Hollow Earth. The creature is released during a rescue mission to save Lee Shaw, played by Kurt Russell, in Episode 1.
Season 2 explores the events leading up to the confrontation between Godzilla and King Ghidorah in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The series’ cast also includes Wyatt Russell, Anne Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Mari Yamamoto, and Anders Holm.
The season premiered on February 27, 2026, with new episodes released weekly on Apple TV+. The tenth and final episode is scheduled for May 1, 2026. As the story unfolds, Titan X stands as one of the most significant additions to the MonsterVerse from the show.
