High Strangeness in the Bennington Triangle Movie Review by Matt Boiselle

Small Town Monsters is delivering their latest paranormal documentary to streaming services on April 28th, and I’m not ashamed to say that this one ran the ice water chills right down my back – and that’s a lot to say for a somewhat jaded soul that’s been desensitized to the genre for lunar moons – bravo to ya!

Director Seth Breedlove took the cameras to one of New England’s most active territories for unexplained phenomena, a carved-out region of Vermont where the unusual is merely an understatement. The focal-point is Glastenbury Mountain, an area that mostly sits unreachable to the masses dead in the center of the Bennington Triangle, and the mystery-aspect is heavily inferred, with tons of foreign wonders occurring, and most importantly, the completely strange number of disappearances over the years – I mean, SOMEONE has to know something, don’t they?

Breedlove’s sense of direction and ability to press on even in the face of the unknown is what makes these documentaries so engrossing – I’m sure the pedestrian crowd would falter in their approach to gain answers, but you can tell that these anonymous trails only force he and his team to venture on even further, and it makes the entire presentation seriously fun to watch. I would HIGHLY recommend this latest dive into the unknown for fans who have enjoyed his previous work (“On The Trail Of Bigfoot” & “The Mothman Of Point Pleasant”) to jump into it with all of their claws intact, because trust me, you’ll need them to dig yourself out.
