Fans of the hugely popular anime series Demon Slayer won’t have to wait too much longer to watch the second season of the series on Netflix.
Netflix has revealed (via What’s On Netflix) that Season 2 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will come to the popular streamer on January 21. With this addition, both seasons to be released thus far will be available on Netflix for fans of the series.
“After visiting the Rengoku residence, Tanjiro and his comrades volunteer for a mission within the Entertainment District, a place where desires are sold and demons dwell,” the season’s synopsis says. “They journey alongside the flashy Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, in search of a monstrous foe terrorizing the town. Sworn to slay creatures of the night, the hunt continues.”
The “Entertainment District” arc premiered in December 2021 as part of the series’ second season. Meanwhile, Season 2’s first half contained the TV adaptation of the “Mugen Train” arc. Shortly after the season finale, Demon Slayer‘s social media accounts announced Season 3. The third season will cover the “Swordsmith Village” arc.
