Murnau. Now, over a century later, Eggers is applying his signature visual style supported by a stellar cast led by Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, and Nicholas Hoult to create dread-filled nightmare fuel about a vampire with a voracious appetite and an undying hunger for more than just blood…
Robert Eggers’ latest film “is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.“
Dread Central’s managing editor Josh Korngut sat down with Eggers and Dafoe to chat about the film’s eroticism, what it means to adapt Nosferatu, and how Dafoe watched horror movies when he was a kid.
