Quote Of The Day By Lili Reinhart: Im Always On A Quest To Feel Better. Ive Never Been Someone Who Accepts A Diagnosis That Has No Cure… – TVLine

Lili Reinhart brought a BookTok obsession to the screen in Prime Video’s new movie,”The Love Hypothesis.” The rom-com follows Olive (Reinhart), a PhD science student at Stanford who enters a fake dating arrangement with a professor to convince her best friend she’s moved on from a previous relationship. Although Olive and Dr. Adam Carlson (aka Dr. Evil, played by Tom Bateman) initially pretend to be in love, their chemistry soon proves to be undeniable.

Reinhart’s recent acting credit positions her as a romantic lead, and it’s a welcome departure from her iconic role as Betty Cooper in “Riverdale.” The CW YA series ran for seven seasons, and since the finale aired in 2023, the actress has been booked and busy. She was the lead and executive producer of both the cyber thriller “American Sweatshop” and the indie series “Hal & Harper.” Her portrayal in the latter even earned her a mention on TVLine’s Performer of the Week.

Alongside Reinhart’s illustrious Hollywood career, she is also an active proponent of health and wellness. Whether it’s battling depression or advocating for her endometriosis diagnosis, the actor continues to listen to her body and search for solutions even when doctors say that there isn’t a cure. The quote of the day reflects Reinhart’s continued search for healing and self-care.

“I’m always on a quest to feel better. I’ve never been someone who accepts a diagnosis that has no cure or that I’m just depressed forever and there’s no relief. I’ve always been someone who says, ‘I’m going to find something to help.’ I really have carried that through my 20s. When I was a teenager, I felt that way, and I think for the rest of my life I will always keep finding little things to help myself.”

The above quote comes from Lili Reinhart’s guest appearance on “Reclaiming with Monica Lewinski.” In the podcast episode released in November 2025, the actor discussed her medical struggles and some of the wellness practices she’s tried, including DBT therapy and Reiki, a Japanese energy healing technique.

Although there isn’t a set cure for certain mental and physical health conditions, Reinhart hasn’t given up on finding alternative methods to help soothe her pain and feel better in her own skin.

“I’m not going to let it just define me,” she told Lewinksi. “I’m going to keep trying.”

Lili Reinhart’s quote shows how we should never cease to prioritize our well-being. The actor has been vocal about her experience with body dysmorphia and obsessive-compulsive disorder while filming “Riverdale” and has since discussed other health setbacks she has faced since the series wrapped.

In 2024, Reinhart was diagnosed with alopecia. In the following year, doctors diagnosed her with endometriosis during a laparoscopic surgery.Despite all of the hurdles she’s experienced, the actor continues to take her health seriously. We can all draw inspiration from her resilience and change the way we view our mental and physical well-being.

Reinhart may have other projects in the works following the release of “The Love Hypothesis,” but she is also using her platform to support fans who are struggling in one way or another. Instead of allowing a diagnosis to define our lives, we can continue to forge ahead.

• “Listen to your body, and don’t take no for an answer. Don’t let a doctor tell you that nothing’s wrong when you know that there is.”— from a 2025 interview with Self

• “I viewed depression as a dragon that needed to be defeated rather than something I needed to learn to have compassion for. I’ve always been on a quest to feel better — to try medication and therapy and Reiki and all these different energetic healing works — and it’s not for this end goal of ‘I need to be this to be happy.'”— from a 2025 conversation with Lizzy McAlpine at the Women’s Health Lab

• “Women’s pain is not an inconvenience and should never be treated that way. The purpose of sharing my experience is to encourage and uplift other women who may be experiencing pain, to not be silenced into accepting it as the norm. Self-advocacy can lead you somewhere, so please keep going.”— from her 2026 op-ed, published on Elle
