On Friday morning, Selena Gomez was photographed on the set of her hit Hulu show Only Murders In The Building in Queens, NY, with her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. The singer and actress’ look for the day included black denim pants peeking out from under an oversized dark purple trench coat by Olēnich. The statement piece made from faux leather featured large lapels and a belt cinching her in at the waist.
Under the coat was a pale pink button down and on her feet were a pair of white lace-up boots with a thick black sole.

Gomez left her long brunette hair down in waves and wore a pair of gold double hoop earrings. She had on a natural makeup palette for the shoot with a light coral lip.

On Only Murders in the Building, Gomez plays Mabel Mora, one of a trio of friends who are obsessed with true crime and who start a podcast together as they investigate a murder in their own apartment building. The show was renewed for a third season after receiving much critical acclaim, and has attracted lots of big guest stars like Tina Fey, Ryan Broussard, Jane Lynch, Meryl Streep, Ashley Park, and Paul Rudd.
The pop star told Deadline in an interview last year that when she was pitched the role, she was immediately excited to work with Martin and Short — and that the show’s subject was of personal interest to her.
“They pitched me the idea and it led into a whole conversation about my actual obsession with true crime,” said Gomez. “I had just come back from CrimeCon when I had the call and it just felt like it was something I really wanted to do. They were all so lovely. And working with Steve and Marty would be a dream.”
