All eyes were on actress Sydney Sweeney as she attended the premiere of her new thriller movie “Reality” in New York City on May 16. The 25-year-old star was nothing short of a sartorial vision on the black carpet, wearing a black strapless, floor-length gown from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2023 Couture collection. The body-baring ensemble featured tulle and ruffle detailing, black velvet trim, and see-through panels that cascaded down the length of the dress. She finished the look with black suede platform pumps from Brandon Blackwood featuring the brand’s signature B logo. Sweeney’s glam was just as effortless as her outfit — a neutral, dewy face of makeup with a pop of black winged liner to match her dress, created by artist Melissa Hernandez. She also wore her go-to nude “supermodel” nails, done by celebrity-beloved nail tech Zola Ganzorigt. Her blond hair was styled in relaxed waves, courtesy of Glen Oropeza.
Styled by Molly Dickson, the “Euphoria” star has become quite the fashion darling. Her latest appearance is a refreshing switch-up from her Miu Miu streak, playing right into her evolving aesthetic. Sweeney started the year on a sparkly note when she attended the 73rd Berlinale International Film Festival in crystal-covered garments, including a red corset Miu Miu gown and an embellished Alexander McQueen cutout suit. Since then, the brand ambassador has continued to deliver exciting fashion moments, most recently wearing a plunging mermaid gown adorned with embellishments for the 2023 Met Gala. She’s also mastered see-through pieces and sultry silhouettes, from her bralette-and-sheer-skirt combo at the Armani Beauty NYC Launch to her mermaid-esque mesh blue dress for yet another Armani event. Furthermore, she sported a strapless pink jumpsuit at CinemaCon alongside “Anyone but You” costar Glen Powell.
