Taylor Swift’s Famous High School Classmate Slams Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift may feel “So High School” when she’s around boyfriend Travis Kelce, but one of her former classmates made it clear that he does not.

As NASCAR driver Josh Berry recently explained on the Rubbin’ Is Racing podcast, he attended Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where Swift also went. Though the two were in different grades, “I know of somebody who knew her kind of deal,” Berry explained, adding he “didn’t really know” Swift herself.

The reason the driver brought up the fun fact in the first place was to explain why he lets people in on it to begin with.

“It’s one of those things when you’re doing an interview one day and somebody’s like, ‘Hey, what’s a funny, crazy story about you?’” Berry said. “I’m like, ‘Oh, I went to school with Taylor Swift.’ You don’t think that’s that big of a deal. But good gosh, man. It never ends.”

Now, Berry complained, the questions about Swift, 35, are incessant because of her relationship with Kelce — a fellow athlete who Berry has a rather unfavorable opinion of.

“Then she starts dating Travis Kelce and it all comes back again,” Berry said on the podcast. “I’m like, ‘I don’t care about Travis Kelce. He has nothing to do with me.’ It just never ends.”

Though the pop star — who began dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, in late summer 2023 — hasn’t responded to her former classmate’s claims, fans can assume that she’s too busy shaking them off.
