The Boys season 3 may have just come to a close but we are already looking ahead to seasons five and six. Both seasons have already been double stack greenlit! If you like myself can’t get enough of The Boys, there is also an animated spin-off series called Diabolical that ties into the same universe. The debauchery and carnage doesn’t stop there though. There is another spin-off of The Boys on the way through and it sounds absolutely fantastic.
The new series based in The Boys universe is called Gen V. The all-new spinoff will focus on supes during their irresponsible, wild, and drug-addled college days. The comparison that has already been made by star Patrick Schwarzenegger is that Gen V is like a combination of The Boys meets HBO’s Euphoria. So, basically, that is taking two of television’s most controversial and awesome shows and combining them into one.
Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi.
The description for Gen V on Deadline goes like this:
Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V purports to be an R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.
We can’t wait to see Gen V in action and the wild direction that the series plan to take. As always we will have additional info and trailers as soon as they arrive!
