Mere days after debuting on Max, the flick is already ‘certified fresh’ on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 93%. Moreover, the film has a dynamite user rating (Popcornmeter score) of 91%. I can only imagine Juror #2 would have pulled respectable numbers up at the domestic box office if the suits at Warner Brothers had invested in a wider theatrical exhibition. But the studio continues to baffle and perplex at every turn. Need I remind you about the infamous Batgirl fiasco?

The picture’s impressive talent roster includes Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, J. K. Simmons, Zoey Deutch, Chris Messina, Cedric Yarbrough, and Kiefer Sutherland. Not too shabby.
The film also happens to reunite Collette and Hoult after their turn as mother and son in the romantic dramedy About a Boy.
It’s also worth mentioning that Eastwood was 93 years old when production on Juror #2 commenced. The filmmaker is living proof that age doesn’t have to slow you down.
