Trisha Yearwood is calling on her community to help celebrate a milestone close to her heart. The country music legend launched a birthday fundraiser for Dottie’s Yard, the animal welfare fund she founded, with a goal of raising $25,000 for local animal shelters across the country.
Dottie’s Yard turns five this year. Yearwood marked the occasion with a warm appeal on Instagram, appearing alongside her three dogs. Her caption was genuine and direct. “Life is so much better with them in it,” she wrote, then asked followers to help her reach the fundraising goal. “We are celebrating by raising 25,000 to go straight to local shelters,” she added. “Me and the trio thank you in advance.”
