This has also become a cause for worry for Taylor’s daughter, Steffy, who’s married to Finn, Sheila’s biological son. Steffy fears how her dangerous mother-in-law would react if she discovers the growing relationship between Deacon and Taylor.

Even though Sheila recently did something good by protecting Steffy, they are still far away from trusting each other completely. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, believes that her character can take on her mother-in-law. “If Steffy is anything, she is resolute on her take on Sheila,” the actress told Soaps.com.

While she said that her character may sympathize with Sheila, she said, “Finn would be tempted before Steffy,” adding, “But I could be wrong.”

Nonetheless, the actress acknowledged, “One thing I’d love about Steffy is how she is able to see the truth about someone. Even though that someone is her mother-in-law, she stays true to herself.”
