A$AP Rocky has a new song called “D.M.B.” It comes with a music video written, directed, and executive produced by Rocky for AWGE. The visual stars Rocky and Rihanna, who is pregnant and expecting her first child with the rapper. In the clip, Rocky wears grills on his teeth that say, “MARRY ME?” Rihanna’s teeth, in turn, bear the message, “I DO.” Find the visual below.
“D.M.B.” is produced by Rocky, Skepta, Shlohmo, Hector Delgado, and Kelvin Krash, with additional production by D33J. There are background vocals from A$AP Ferg on “D.M.B.,” too. On the track, Rocky raps, “I don’t beat my bitch, I need my bitch,” which many have seen as a shot at Chris Brown, who was found guilty of assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
A$AP Rocky has featured on recent songs by Nigo (“Arya” and “Lost and Found Freestyle 2019”), $not (“Doja”), and A$AP Ant (“Tha God Hour”). Last year, he tacked “Sandman” on to a new edition of Live. Love. A$AP, and, in 2019, released the song “Babushka Boi.” Rocky was arrested last month in Los Angeles on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
Rihanna previously appeared in an A$AP Rocky music video in 2013. In a 2018 Vogue cover story, Rihanna told the magazine that she was planning on making a reggae album. Later that same year, she claimed that her ninth studio album would drop in 2019, but the LP never materialized. Rihanna’s latest full-length remains 2016’s Anti.
