Tim Burton’s Wednesday arrived on Netflix just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The eight-episode series is a quick binge that is fun and filled with Burton easter eggs. Of course, the trailer alone gave us a look of star, Jenna Ortega dressed as Burton’s Batman Return’s Catwoman. However, not long after digging into the series, audiences will get a look at a gigantic Beetlejuice homage.
If you recall, in Beetlejuice the poltergeist sets out to scare the Deetz family out of the house. These methods involved turning into a giant snake. The creature had the head of Beetlejuice and was beyond memorable. Well, Wednesday features a creature that has a very familiar-looking face.
Yep, there is no avoiding it, y’all. The creature in Wednesday is undoubtedly inspired by Burton’s ghost with the most.
