We love to see a disturbing series thrive on a streamer. While there is a lot of great genre work out there, this week belongs to one addictive show, specifically. The internet is obsessed with this new sensation, and according to FlixPatrol, Swarm is the #1 show on Prime Video.
In the show, a young woman’s obsession with a pop star takes a dark turn.
Swarm was created by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers. It stars Dominique Fishback, Chloe Bailey, Nirine S. Brown, Cree Summer, Kiersey Clemons, Leon, Billie Eilish, and Rory Culkin.
The show uses a mixture of true crime and internet rumors as a background for the homicidal protagonist. All seven episodes are currently streaming on Prime Video.

Swarm premiered at SXSW earlier this month before hitting Prime Video last week. Since then, it has had Twitter buzzing and group chats gagged. Many viewers ran to Twitter to praise the cast and share reactions to some of the more shocking moments. Most are loving Dominique Fishback for a brilliant performance while calling for her awards season campaign to start now.
See what the internet is saying about the Prime Video series:
The most brilliant thing about #Swarm is that Janine and Donald cast the protégé of a pop star, the daughter of a pop star, and an actual pop star. I see what yall did and it was brilliant. Meta in every way. 👨🏾🍳 😚 pic.twitter.com/gHJiOs2Wao

I'm really impressed with Dominique Fishback's performance as this character. It's extremely convincing and I'm wondering if she studied a lil psychology beforehand. I've never seen such an accurate portrayal of this kind of off person #Swarm

The internet is also somehow surprised by a tame sex scene and a cringe moment involving Rory Culkin and a bowl of fruit. Meanwhile, those of us who watched Atlanta are just enjoying the ride because we are used to these sort of dark secondhand embarrassment moments.
