The Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes leave the future of TV up in the air. Although the list of shows delayed by the strikes is indeed growing by the day, there is still scripted TV on the horizon.
Outlander, for example, began airing its seventh season on June 16 on Starz and airs its Part 1 finale in August. Jamie and Claire Fraser’s time-traveling love story continues with Season 7 Part 2 in 2024, which has already been filmed.
Justified: City Primeval, Miracle Workers, Foundation, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Good Omens, Heartstopper, and more have also returned, and there’s still a slew of shows still to come in 2023.
