Here’s some good news for music fans and cinephiles alike: the Timothée Chalamet-led Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown will be available for digital purchase on February 25th, with the physical release following on April 1st.
Pre-orders for the digital release of A Complete Unknown are available now through Amazon and Apple TV. For those who want a physical copy, it will be available on 4K UHD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray.
Directed by James Mangold, A Complete Unknown stars Chalamet as a 19-year-old Bob Dylan arriving in New York City. During his rise, the artist comes across other iconic singer-songwriters like Pete Seeger (Edward Norton), Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro), Johnny Cash (Boyd Holbrook), and Woody Guthrie (Scoot McNairy).
In addition to Best Picture, the film landed Oscar nominations for Best Director (Mangold), Best Actor (Chalamet), Best Supporting Actor (Norton), and Best Supporting Actress (Barbaro). Be sure to revisit our 2024 interview with Chalamet.
Meanwhile, the real-life Dylan has a full touring schedule for 2025. Ahead of reuniting with Wille Nelson on the 2025 “Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” he’s lined up a spring run of US tour dates. Tickets can be purchased here.
