Snapped: Solomun at Sphere Las Vegas (A Photo Essay)

In helping to close out Anyma’s legendary The End of Genesis run at Sphere Las Vegas, Producer/DJ Solomun tapped into his early film making foundations to creative direct a completely fresh experience – not just for the groundbreaking venue, but himself as well. For the first time, he chose to share his music through an accompanying visual aesthetic, rather than putting the focus a more party-leaning atmosphere.

More from Spin:

“This aspect of my biography—my passion for storytelling through moving images—might come as a surprise to some. Since at my events, I’ve always kept the focus strictly on music rather than visuals. That’s why I always say: ‘I throw parties, not shows.’ But here, on this massive screen, it had to be a show—one that tells the story of the divine power of music and the universal language of dance.”
