Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert has been arrested on a charge of second degree attempted murder, according to arrest records in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ebert, 33, also faces a first degree assault charge, and is being held without bond.
The circumstances that led to Ebert’s arrest have not yet been revealed publicly; Ebert is scheduled to make a court appearance later this morning.
Ebert is a co-founding member of Turnstile, but he parted ways with the band in 2022. Following his departure, it was revealed that drummer Daniel Fang had sought a temporary peace order against Ebert in Maryland’s District Court, though the request was ultimately denied for “no statutory basis for relief,” indicating there was insufficient evidence.
