I shop all the time, so I have different ways to filter for exactly what I want—like searching for pieces made from specific materials. In warm weather, especially, that usually means 100% cotton. I particularly love an airy cotton dress (like the sleep dress trend) or an easy skirt from brands like Cou Cou Intimates, Dôen, Donni, Enza Costa, Flore Flore, Leset, Rue Sophie, St. Agni, and more.
Another natural fiber I gravitate toward this time of year is silk, and the Australian label Silk Laundry is one of my favorite brands for it. A silk slip dress always feels effortless to throw on with ballet flats or kitten heels while still looking put together.
I wear cashmere year-round as well—even when it’s hot out. I run cold, so I always keep a lightweight cashmere sweater on hand for when the AC is on indoors, or it cools off in the evenings.
