Chadwick Boseman’s action thriller is leaving Netflix very soon. Fans can catch the 2019 non-MCU movie, co-produced by the Russo brothers, on Netflix before it leaves the platform next month.

21 Bridges is set to leave Netflix next month

According to What’s on Netflix, 21 Bridges leaves the streaming platform on September 1, 2026. Brian Kirk directed the action thriller. Adam Mervis and Matthew Michael Carnahan wrote the screenplay. The movie was first released back in November 2019.

Chadwick Boseman stars as NYPD detective Andre Davis in the movie. Sienna Miller plays Narcotics Detective Frankie Burns alongside him. Stephan James and Taylor Kitsch play the two suspects.

Seven officers were killed after a failed cocaine robbery. Andre quickly begins a citywide manhunt across Manhattan. He orders all 21 bridges closed immediately. The investigation soon uncovers a much bigger conspiracy.

As the chase continues, strange details slowly begin to emerge. Andre starts questioning who he can really trust. The suspects also reveal shocking claims during the chase. Michael, who was involved in the robbery and is played by Stephan James, later hands Andre flash drives containing key evidence.

Andre exposes the corrupt officers and rejects their cover-up. Police corruption slowly comes into focus as new events unfold. Every new clue pushes Andre deeper into danger. The movie blends crime, action, thriller, and betrayal together.

The cast also includes Stephan James, Keith David, Taylor Kitsch, J.K. Simmons, Alexander Siddig, Louis Cancelmi, and Victoria Cartagena. Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Robert Simonds, Gigi Pritzker, Chadwick Boseman, and Logan Coles produced the movie.

It earned around $49 million at the worldwide box office. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 55% critics’ score. However, the audience score reached a much stronger 91%. 21 Bridges begins streaming on Netflix next month.
