What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write As Thick As Thieves, The Price of Infamy?
I just love period adventures and fantasy adventures. I have been into them all my life. I am also into crime fiction and heist stories, and this was an attempt to blend the two genres.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Historical fiction, fantasy adventure, Sci-fi, and Crime fiction.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
Eon by Greg Bear, and the Witcher series.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
There were many scenes I really enjoyed writing, but one that springs to mind is when Cohen and Charlotte break Hilda out of the palace dungeon and then have to escape. I really enjoy writing scenes that are based in comedy.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
Not really. Writing has always been a passion for me, but like most people I have a day job and a family and many commitments. I guess I have trained myself to write anywhere, anytime.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
“If there is something you really want to do in life – have a go! You might just succeed.” This is definitely one of my philosophies.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
I really just wanted this to be a fun entertaining read. I hope readers get some laughs and enjoy it.
